Daily Announcements
  • The Citadel Ultimate Frisbee team will begin practicing on Friday, March 6th after school at 3:30pm. The first practice will be held in the community center gym, and subsequent practices will be in the main Citadel gym every Friday. Players are asked to come prepared with running sneakers and  a light and dark shirt. Bring your disk if you have one!
  • Looking for volunteer hours? Looking to make a difference in the community and in the lives of others? Interested in making new friends and having fun? Be a peer mentor for Autism Nova Scotia’s CommunityWorks Canada program! No experience required! Come to the guidance office for more details!
  • Citadel Snowboarding Team competed at Regionals yesterday at Martock. Congrats to Nicola Dempsey and Anna Wuensch who qualified for Provincials. Nicola recorded the fastest individual time for the senior girls. The senior boys team finished 4th over all.
  • PEER TUTORING info session:  There will be a meeting next Tuesday March 10th at lunch in room 208 for all students interested in becoming a peer tutor. This will be an information session and will be about 20 minutes. If you are interested in peer tutoring please attend.  
  • Students in grades 10, 11 and 12,  interested in participating in the French Public Speaking contest  should come to room 102 at lunch today.
  • There will be a field hockey team practice after school today at 4pm in the gym.
  • Power school is open for current grade 10 and 11 students to make course selections for the 20-21 school year. For course descriptions please see Citadel Guidance website, under course selection heading. Please ensure that you are selecting courses based on your requirements for graduation, for post secondary admission to your program of choice, and your interests.  Counsellors will be visiting classes and meeting with students to review your selections. Please try to have all selections done by March 31, 2020.
  • Women of Aviation Worldwide Open House Event Saturday March 7 at Moncton Flight College.  Come to the guidance office for more details.  There is no cost to attend this event.  Please register in advance via email to WOAW@mfc.nb.ca
