Daily Announcements
- Students are reminded to join the grade level google classroom sent to their email by the guidance office, this is a great source of information for you.
- A reminder to Ireland, Wales and Scotland trip students - please pick up gift card tickets from Mrs. Shaw in room 215 or Ms. MacEachen in room 211 if you are taking part in our first fundraiser.
- On Tuesday at lunch Halifax Public Libraries will have a pop-up library set up in the main foyer. They will be doing a registration drive for anyone who needs a library card and there will also likely be the usual giveaways.
- Have you lost a pair of glasses or the case for your Beats headphones, or a jacket, sweatshirt, or waterbottle? Swing by the library to see if any of the ones left behind belong to you.
- Today at lunch there will be representatives from 3 universities here in the lobby to meet with any interested students, Carleton, Guelph and Savannah College of Art and Design.
- Citadel GSA will be honoring Trans Day of Remembrance this week. There is an art display of transgender activists in the school lobby, please take a moment to view it sometime this week. If anyone would like to contribute a portrait to the display, please see Mr Drapak, Erin in the Youth Health Centre or any member of the GSA. We will be sharing some knowledge daily about these trans activists and everyone is welcome to attend the GSA’s lunch time event on Friday in room 222 for the Trans Day of Remembrance - it will feature on of these activists as a special guest speaker.
