Important Dates:
● Friday, January 23 & Monday, January 26: Other Form Final Summative Assessments written in regular class periods.
● Monday, January 26 & Tuesday, January 27: Grade 10 Provincial NS English Exams (during regular class periods) affects GRADE 10’s currently enrolled in Eng 10 ONLY.
● Wednesday, January 28 & Thursday, January 29: Final Summative Assessments (see schedule)
Other Information:
- The Citadel library will be used to support English 10 exams and will not be available for students during the day on January 26 and 27.
- All textbooks for first semester courses should be returned to the library.
- There are no make up dates for missed assessments.
Exam Schedule
Nova Scotia Examination English 10 will run over two 60-minute class periods on January 26–27. The High School Summative Assessment period is January 28–29.
If school is cancelled during the assessment window (Jan 26–29), all assessments shift ahead to the next school day and the rest of the schedule moves forward day-by-day.
The Grades 10-12 Assessment & Evaluation Day (no classes) will be held after the final assessment day:
● If 1 day is cancelled: Assessment & Evaluation Day Monday, February 2 and Semester 2 begins Tuesday, February 3.
● If 2 days are cancelled: Assessment & Evaluation Day Tuesday, February 3 and Semester 2 begins Wednesday, February 4.
