  • This week is Freedom to Read Week in Canada where we think about and reaffirm our commitment to intellectual freedom by reading banned or challenged materials. Come by our library and check out the display of banned or challenged books and take part in the daily trivia contest for a chance to win a prize.
  • Today's trivia question is:   What book when it was first released was challenged by a parents group in Bedford, NS? Hint: They were concerned it would encourage children to practice witchcraft.
  • Today’s menu in the cafeteria:  Teriyaki beef stir fry with chow menu noodles and an egg roll. 5.75$; Pizza, chicken fingers, chicken burgers, potato wedges, onion rings; Cold cut on kaiser rolls
  • The Citadel Ultimate Frisbee team will begin practicing on Friday, March 6th after school at 3:30pm. The first practice will be held in the community center gym, and subsequent practices will be in the main Citadel gym every Friday. Players are asked to come prepared with running sneakers and  a light and dark shirt. Bring your disk if you have one!
  • Citadel Badminton Team Tryouts for girls and boys doubles will take place today at lunch in the gym. Tryouts for mixed doubles will take place the following Wednesday and Thursday in the gym. Please see Ms. Nixon to sign up your team in advance of the tryout dates.
