Daily Announcements
  • Did you know that 1 in 5 people in Nova Scotia are food insecure, that's over 213,000 people. Health and wellness and the student council are hosting a feed nova scotia food drive called stuff a bus on Friday December 1st. We ask that students bring in food donations into their D-Block classes throughout the week. Representatives from health and wellness and student council will be by to collect the food this week. The class who brings in the most food items will win cookies for the class.
  • Guys' Group is hosting Movember Moustache Making at lunch in the cafeteria today. Come and make a moustache and show your support for men's mental health.  It's a stereotype that men don't ask for help.
  • The next Hockey Guys Group will be held on Thursday during A-block/last period in the Youth Health Centre
  • A reminder that there is a choir rehearsal today in Room 221 at lunch. Sing you soon!!!!
  • Improv Practice in Room 122, Thursday afterschool. Congratulations for making the team:  Team Captain - Koma White, Scarlett Reynolds, Maren Giffin-Crawley, William Robertson, Ray Davis, Ada Macdonald, Nick Young, Tennessee Toombs, Liam Connolly, Isioma Ugluu, Jimmy Gold and Allie Chisholm
  • Any students who signed up for the Army Reserves Open House must bring their permission slips to guidance now. 
  • There will be a scholarship/bursary presentation by the African Canadian Services Branch today at lunch for all grade 12 African Ancestry students in room 318. Please see Mr. Williams for more information.
  • Clothing swap today at lunch in room 122, donate clothes you no longer wear and trade it for something new to you
  • The following people have Chromebooks reserved in the library. Please come and pick them up ASAP. If you do not need a Chromebook please let Ms. Lavers know so that it may be given to someone else.   Mason Leffley-Patton Loic Datie Sabir Hirsi Hala Malahfji Mohammed Almasree Aysa Mamo  Romina Yanez Wolf and Mohammed Al-Salibi, you forgot your Chromebook in the library. Please go and pick it up.
  • Now until this Friday is the last opportunity to bring in any donations for the hats and mitts that’ll be donated to SoulsHarbour. The donation box is outside the office.
