Daily Announcements
- Students are reminded to submit their course selection for next year in PowerSchool. Course selection is due this Friday. If you are traveling early for March break, please complete it before you go. Counsellors are in classes talking with students through the week. If you need to reset your password, please visit student services.
- A big congratulations to the boys division 1 hockey team who beat CPA in the 2nd overtime to bring home the provincial banner!
- Student Council, GirlUp and Health and Wellness is having a spirit week on the week of March 4th - 8th for International Women's Day. On Monday, March 4th, there will be bracelet making in the caf. We will be playing Taylor Swift music as well! We can't wait to see everyone on Monday!
- Mandatory girls lacrosse meeting today at lunch in room 218, if you want to play you must attend the meeting today.
- Woman of the day: Marsha P. Johnson is often credited with kickstarting the Stonewall Uprising in 1969, which helped launch the LGBTQ+ Rights Movement. She also helped to found the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionires, also known as STAR activism group, campaigning for greater inclusion for trans people.
- The Citadel High Student Council is hosting a March coffee house on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. If you would like to perform, a sign-up form can be found in every google classroom and on the Student Council’s Instagram Page.
- Important announcement for all ski team members--check your google classroom for an important message regarding Provincials on Wednesday.
- Badminton Team tryouts will commence today at lunch and continue all through this week.
- There will be a club fair tomorrow, Tuesday at lunch on the 2nd floor balcony. Come check out Citadel’s amazing clubs.
