- Guys Group will be held this week on Friday during second period/A-block in the YHC
- The woman of the day is Marie Van Brittan Brown. She was an African American nurse and innovator and in 1966, she invented the first home security system with her husband, Albert Brown. During this time, access to education for black women was difficult to receive and their efforts were hardly acknowledged. Though her education was entirely in nursing, she paved the way for modern home security systems used today.
- A reminder that tomorrow is Women's Sports Jersey Day and we will be streaming a women's hockey game in the cafeteria at lunch. We can't wait to see everyone supporting women's sports by wearing your favourite jersey!

- Students are reminded to submit their course selection for next year in PowerSchool. Course selection is due this Friday. If you are traveling early for March break, please complete it before you go. Counsellors are in classes talking with students through the week.
